Global Wooden Toys
Samples & Sampling
How to order wooden toy samples: cost, lead time, freight and what we check before a bulk order.
Samples are quoted per SKU. The sample price is usually the unit price plus a handling charge, and the freight is charged at cost. Sample lead time is normally 5–10 days for stock styles and longer for custom work.
We recommend sampling before any first order, especially for instruments (sound), outdoor items (weight and assembly) and baby toys (finish and edges). For custom projects, the sample is where the size, colour and packaging are approved.
Tell us at the start whether you need the sample for a buyer presentation or for a compliance check — the two need different documentation.
- Sample cost quoted per SKU
- Sample lead time 5–10 days for stock styles
- Custom samples longer, quoted per project
- Freight at cost
- Sample approval before bulk production
